Local clean-up activities "Beautification campaign for premises and the road in the surrounding" was executed this year. It usually came in the place that did not enter, the garbage that had been hidden in the plant was collected, and it collected it by as many as 50 bags. There is no garbage, and it aims at a beautiful local environment building, and the activity will be promoted in the future.   |

Niigata Festival - joining in the folk song procession Our company also has been participating in "Niigata Festival's Grand Folk Song Procession" held every year since 2007. About 100 volunteer participants danced on Bandai Bridge putting on an original Yukata in magnificence last year. |

Education
Taking part in the 2008 Niigata Prefecture Young People's Science Festival NAMICS participated in the "Young People's Science Festival" held at Niigata City Industrial Promotion Center from December 20 (Saturday) to December 21 (Sunday), 2008. Following on from last year's festival we took part in a construction workshop in one of the permanent stands where we put on an electricity show. The amazed look on the faces of the children, who had crowded into the stand with their parents, when the LED lamps lit up, illustrated their interest in science. |

Blood donor activities At the "44th National Blood Donation Drive" NAMICS was presented with a letter of commendation from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. Our commendation from the Minister recognized at the highest level the results of our positive cooperation over the years with blood donation drives. |
